One of the reasons that lenses like the old 35 Summilux look so good is that a soft
image can be counteracted by sharp grain, if the photo is printed properly. Witness
many of the images of Robert Frank and Henri Cartier Bresson.

That is what I find lacking in the bland images I got with T400CN.
