By far the biggest problem I've encountered is a failure of the lubricants-when corrected, the camera generally works fine with no realignment. If it's already messed-up, you might try calling Leica and see if they'll sell you a service manual. If not, the M4 manual can be had through Infotech. A good online place to check out is Fargo Enterprises (www.fargoent.com). I believe that Ed Romney also has a website, though I don't have the URL handy.
