Have a look at his mid-1950s picture, "Photojounalist." That's Leica-using
Magnum photographer Dennis Stock behind that LTM. Dennis told me he was
Feininger's assistant at the time, and stood in as the model. (Anyone seen
Dennis lately? Last time I saw him was by accident in the Paris Magnum
offices, and that was at least 10 years ago.)

Having had Leica content, I beg your indulgence with a self-interested
question. Does anyone know the rough value of the 2.8 Rokkor 28 for the CL
(adapted for M frame-lines)? Or for that matter of a Rolleiflex 3.5F?
(Sorry for the cross list content. I will do penance.) I was told to update
my insurance, and wasn't sure what the standard way of determining this is.

Sign: Left-handed Scorpio. My condolences to those who aren't. (Geez, this
roll call is getting wierd.) ;-)

Happy holidays to all, crossing all lists and time zones! (We have a baby
due on Christmas day, so I may fall a little behind with my LUGnotes.)

cheers, Bill
