slide projector controlling program - free for LUGers

Hi LUG,

I have a program for my Linux-pc, which is able to control sound files and the
slide projector. It has been tested with a twin of Kinderman projectors via
the serial interface and with some additional hardware on the parallel port.

It can do the following:

- - Mix several sound files
- - fade in and fade out with arbitrary delay
- - send signals to serial or parallel port
- - handle offset between sound and signal to adjust slide changing delay

The program has no nice window display or other features yet. It is controlled
by a text file.

Required Hardware:
The minimum seems to be my own configuration. PC486, 50MHz, Linux,
Soundblaster.


I made a 20 Minutes slide show with my Pradovit and it was the most successful
slide show I ever made!

I usually have three channels: Two for the music (I need two to fade in and
out), and one for additional text.

Sometimes my PC is too slow. Then I have to mix it first into one sound file
and run this single sound file without problems.

Since it is thanksgiving and I'd like to thank you all for the LUG I'll give
it to whoever is interested. 
However comments, developing power, money, Leica M cameras etc. are always
welcome.
