I use my R4 with motor weekly (almost daily) and love it!

(Even tho', as we speak, it is having a wiring problem corrected at Leica. It
seems that it began to drain batteries in a matter of hours.)

Other than that, the price is right.  Be aware that this is the
technologially most antiquated of the R3/4/5/6/ &7.  Minimal printed circuit
boards, lots of wires, therefore, less reliable.  Above info courtesy of a
