It doesn't seem to exert undue pressure, though. Unfortunately it's not possible to take a scalpel and make a cut-out for the dial, because the pivot attachment for the case flap is right where you'd have to cut. A more covert alternative might be one of the "Zing" neoprene cases. I think they offer more shock absorption than the leather cases also. Doc
