I have a pre-M6 M case (black w. gray inside...probably an M4 or later case)
and the M6 fits ok but it is kind of a tight squeeze against the ASA dial.
 It doesn't seem to exert undue pressure, though.  Unfortunately it's not
possible to take a scalpel and make a cut-out for the dial, because the pivot
attachment for the case flap is right where you'd have to cut.  A more covert
alternative might be one of the "Zing" neoprene cases.  I think they offer
more shock absorption than the leather cases also.
