	Sorry, but this won't save you any money on your next Leica 
unless you go to Oregon.
	Sales tax liability on a mail-order transaction is based on the 
tax law in effect at the purchaser's billing address, not the seller's 
location.
 	If this agreement takes affect, participating companies will 
collect sales taxes based on location of the purchaser and distribute the 
revenues back to those states.
	But there's a way around it. Orders from an out-of-state company 
shipped for delivery to a third state could avoid tax collection by the 
vendor (assuming the seller has no stores in that third state).
	Just a clarification, for your next Leica order.
