You are right I think, but it is discussed by some. I remember that after a few months, some people find that in a way the XD-7/XD-11 had also a "program" mode because in the shutter priority mode, if the speed chosed was wrong, then the electronic of the camera moved it to the closest spee= d usable. The R4, who come out after had a real program mode. (same "chassis" but not the same electronic as the XD-7/XD-11) Lucien BELGIUM
