Tina - I'm using the HP Photo Smart Scanner and Printer - getting great
results up to 5x7, but 8x10 start to tell a little bit of computer-like
printing.  The manipulations are endless. Get the Photo-Smart paper for best
results.  I haven't tried any b/w yet, but I will.
