Hey Daune, "if only!" :)

Nope, Tom and I are a couple of shooters and he has the ability to produce
a piece of gear that has opened up a whole new world of enjoying my M6's.
Being basically blind in my right eye and having to move the camera from my
eye each time to re-cock shutter has always ticked me off. And cost me
more than a few magic moments!

It is for the above reason that I'm such a champion of the R camera with
winder or motor, as I can keep the camera to my eye and just keep recording
images without moving the camera from the eye. Whether several in a second
or simply just shooting one "KODAK MOMENT!" :)

I realize in the eyes of some folks on the LUG, I may have gone over board
with my enthusiasm, and rightly so. But when you have been shooting for 47
years, 45 as a working professional and all of a sudden a piece of
equipment allows you to comfortably put a camera to your eye and shoot in
the same manner as the two eyed folks, it becomes like the answer to a
virgins prayer. (Not sure what that is. Haven't found one in years!) :)

Actually whether two eyed or one eyed, it is a very interesting and finally
hand manufactured piece of M camera gear to assist the photographer with
his or her picture taking. Rapidly or other as single frames.

I was quite surprised at the enthusiasm of those attending my Leica
workshop/seminar in Kennebunkport last week when they tried it. I shouldn't
have been surprised, as it is a good solid tool for assisting me in my
picture taking.

I believe Tom is in for a some orders, so he'll have to got back into the
dark and dingy machine shop with his tools and start making some more! :)
