Marc - We are in accord, as usual, but let me add that rarities are one
thing and instant rarities are another. We both collect rare Leica items
but producing a "Limited Edition" of say 500 Specials is not what one
would consider being worthy of the word "rare". As you know, I had a
black 85/1.5 Summarex which was truly a rare item but it commanded
a much lesser price than the more in demand Thambar ($3K vs 5K)

<< Oh, horse patooties, The camera world is full of rare and
not-so-valuable items. The auxiliary lenses for the Super Paxettes and
Werras are exceedingly hard to find but aren't worth diddly when you do
find them, as there is virtually no demand.
