Even though Japanese dealers probably buy more used Leicas than all other groups combined in the American market, they laugh at these forgettable commemoratives. Just mention these cameras, and you will usually get a roll of the eyes and the biggest grin you ever saw. .Its difficult to know who to pity the most: Leica for having to prostitute itself like this, or the collectors who got conned into buying it.
