Marc - "being phased out" to me means production stopped and the
remaining stock would naturally be in the catalog until it was all gone,
although as you well know for some reason many items stay in the
the catalog for years after they are no longer available.

As a lawyer you know that usual practice, although not compulsary,
is incumbent on the maker to provide parts for their products for years
after the product has become obsolete (automobile industry ie).

Don't get me wrong, I am the owner of at least 10 Viso's & Ploots &
have recently acquired a IIa which not only is rare but is unused in its
original boxes & I probably used the LEINIK adapter with the Matsutov,
as Questars are pretty but cost about $3000 or more.

Well, but it wasn't. The Visoflex III remained in the Leitz Catalogue
until '84 and remaining stock lasted three or four years after this.
