Or at least use the same formula at the R 90 summicron. It's a superb lens, even wide open. Though some claim APO lenses aren't necessary at focal lengths less than 100. Which, actually puts the 100 Apo Macro Elmarit R at the bottom of the APO heap. Interestingly, it's a "pseudo zoom" which changes (shortens) focal length as you focus closer.
