Yes! Or at least use the same formula at the R 90 summicron. It's a superb
lens, even wide open. Though some claim APO lenses aren't necessary at
focal lengths less than 100. Which, actually puts the 100 Apo Macro Elmarit
R at the bottom of the APO heap.

Interestingly, it's a "pseudo zoom" which changes (shortens) focal length
as you focus closer. Maybe the under 100 rule applies to lenses (we are NOT
talking large format here) that work at normal focusing distances?
