I have collected Chasseur d'Images lens tests for Leica M and R since the
beginning of this year. So far, they have recently tested the following
lenses:
Elmarit-M 24 f/2.8 ASPH
Summicron-M 35 f/2.0
Summicron-M 35 f/2.0 ASPH
Summicron-M 50 f/2.0

Elmarit-R 28 f/2.8
Summilux-R 35 f/1.4
Summicron-R 50 f/2.0
Elmarit-R 90 f/2.8
Apo-Macro Elmarit-R 100 f/2.8
Apo-Summicron-R 180 f/2.0
Elmarit-R 180 f/2.8
Vario-Elmar-R 80-200 f/4.0

As far as the Summicron-M 35 f/2.0 is concerned, here are the results:

- - optical performance: 4 stars (out of a possible 5)
- - price/quality rating: 2 stars
- - c=F4te d'amour (subjective rating of how they like this lens): 3 stars.

Chasseur d'images was disappointed about the lens' results wide open at the
corners and borders.
Otherwise they said that it is a good lens, but at an outrageous price.
