The Will McBride/ Flektogon story is published in the McBride/ Fusco book
(also ?), and he gave that comment, when he was taking pix on Herman Hesse's
Sidharta novel in India, while he was working for the German mag "twen"
(before and in the beginning of his NY studio area, when his wife had left
him). He said, that the small inner lenses break easily, and that he had an
additonal second Flektogon with him most of the time. Later he changed to the
Super Angulon - because the Flektogons became too unreliable.
