Is this the standard format today for Robot cameras? >> Gary - The Robot that you have is probably a 1940 Luftwaffen model with a right angle finder used to look into with the lens pointed down. Depending on condition & military markings, it would sell today for about $450 to $550. Some Robots were made in 16x24,18x24,16x16,24x24 & full frame 24x36 but most took 50 exposures @ 24x24mm. The latest ones that I am aware of take 24x24mm. The life-time warranty applies to defective materials & workmanship. You are expecting too much from a camera that literally has been "through the war".
