The first time I saw the 125mm f/2.5 Hektor was in college.
My friend Mitch Diamond got one and used it on a Visoflex I
to make portraits of Christien Jorganson, the famous sex-change
person of about 1955 or 56, in Rochester New York.

Christine Jorgensen was an unusual person & the 1st to go public
with a full transgendering operation. I wonder what happened to her.
The 125mm/2.5 Hektor is also an unusual item as it the only Leitz
lens that uses the hood with the frnt & rear caps to form a perfectly
enclosed "clam shell" I used one for portraiture for many years
as I liked the feel & results of its massiveness (on a tripod of course).
It was made in both Canada & Wetzlar & a nice one costs about
$1,000 today. My doctor has one on his desk that he uses for a
  paper weight (no joke).
