Yes, that article along with some private correspondence with another
member of the group convinced me not to acquire the zoom eyepiece.  The
20x is very nice, but I find the 40x a bit difficult to use for extended
periods - the small sharp center seems to float in a distorted field with
my eyes anyway. Unfortunately, the relatively new 32x eyepiece may not
have been available at the time of the review.  The swivel function on the
angled scope is very handy when people of different heights are using the
scope since the tripod does have to be constantly readjusted.  However, I
do wish the knob one uses to loosen/tighten the scope body within the
mount was a bit bigger. 

Despite my carping, I still think it's one impressive hunk of glass.
