Sort of letting it come to a complete stop before firing? If so, try using a cable release. You can lock up the mirror, pick up the cable release and fire the thing without the shake you get from touching the shutter button. The cables with the cloth casing are the most supple, and can be had for $4.00 or so at any camera shop. Regards, Ben W.
