I wouldn't abandon my own processing if all you have access >to is a 1-hour C-41 processing line. On the other hand, if you need to get >printable, fine grain B+W negatives away from home, T400CN is an attractive >film. It is, like its Ilford equivalent. The image is formed by standard C-41/E-6 type of colorants, not by silver particules like conventional black & white film. Do you have any information about the stability of the T400CN negatives over time? How will these negatives be say 10 or 20 years from now? .
