FWIW, one of the most interesting books of photography I've seen in many
years is _Raymond Chandler's Los Angeles_, which attempts to illustrate his
most memorable descriptions with appropriate photos.  Great reading,
fascinating photographs, regrettably not done with Leicas.  They used
Olympus OM-10, if memory serves.
