You can, if you have enough light. Typically, outside, perfect weather, asa
50 = 1/1000 @ f4 with no filter. Add a polarizer and you are at f1.4 - f2 .
Not very good for DOF unless no DOF is the purpose of the shot. So it
depends entirely upon the light and subject, but the limitation is very
restricting.
