Not too long ago, an acquiantance of mine sent Leica, Inc a M3 which had a 
very weak vf/rf.  Leica responded with the info that they didnt sell
individual
parts for the unit but would replace the M3 unit with a M4 (35,50,90 &135)
cost for replacement $300 and with installation - another $200 -total $500.

(not too bad) my wifes Honda cost $6000 to replace the smashed front end.
