How bout a huge white semi, with "Leica" on the sides. BMW has one of these 
that makes the rounds to all the cycle events. You walk thru it and it is 
filled with all the latest BMW stuff. But if Leica did this, someone would 
probably but a very large peice of tape over the word Leica !!!!!!!

I think 2 companies that Leica should look at are BMW Motorcycles and 
Harley-Davidson. 2 companies that have kept up with the times while trying 
not to alienate their loyal customers. I think Leica is following the same 
path with the R8. i don't have a problem with new M cameras, but the M6 
should be left alone except for evalutionary improvements. Save the 
revelutionary ones for a different camera.
