Much improved on the G2. A separate focus button is provided to move lens
into position before taking photo; also can be set to do this with partial
depression of shutter release (std. SLR operation).

a) perhaps M6 meter needs a bit of calibration adjustment
b) perhaps the 1/3 shutter speed increments on G2 allowed for more precise
exposure
c) perhaps the G2 was fast but the scene looked better that way

Subtle difference.
