For those of you that have put off joining the Leica Historical Society of
America
(which now has about 2400 members world-wide) - here is a new incentive:

There will be a raffle at the annual meeting this year, giving away  a Grand
Prize
M6 Ein Stuck Leica Outfit with a 35/1.4 Summilux ASPH lens.  Bonus prizes of
M6, R8 or R6.2 outfits will also be given away.  
The tickets for members are $5 each and the winner doesnt have to be present
Dues are still only $35/year which includes quarterly copies of their
"Viewfinder"
magazine and free listing of buy & sell items in their quarterly catalog.
