It's fun to see how close I come and has three benefits: 1. It causes me to really *look* at the scene with the perspective of how it will be exposed on the film. 2. I am always in training for when the exposure battery fails. 3. If I'm off very far, it has caught me a few times when I forgot to set the correct ASA setting on the camera. Gary Todoroff
