The 35/2, 50/2 and 90/2.8 are all very good in terms of optical quality.
Generally speaking, the faster lenses in the Leica M system are simply
faster, not better (actually the 90/2.8 performs better at comparable
apertures than the 90/2; the same holds for the 50/2 compared to the
50/1.4).
