Kodak is using rather old techniques, though they claim they have grafted 't-grain' chemistry into the emulsion. Most reports equate XP-2 and the new T-Max film, some favouring one slightly, some the other. (There is another new variable-speed film, by Konica, I believe, which generally seems to to get panned pretty badly.) Free-lance pros used XP-1/XP-2 for years in shooting auto races. Shoot colour for the mags, XP-2 for the newspapers. Visit a one-hour lab when the race is over, and you can have the pictures downtown at the newspaper in ample time for Monday's papers WITHOUT bothering the newspaper for the use of its darkroom. (Of course, this is all changed around now, with digital imaging and so forth.) Marc Marc James Small Cha Robh Bas Fir, Gun Ghras Fir! FAX: +540/343-7315
