Harrison,

Have friend here in SD that might be able to help. He is an optical
engineer and machinist. His first job was at Leica at Wetzlar. He
collects some older Leicas, VW Things and German Polka music. He is one
who has told me about Leica engineering arrogance back then: "we don't
need to talk to photographers, we know what is best for them."

He has the most organized workshop I've ever seen. And has done work on
things like 2000 mm lenses for Sports Illustrated. He could probably
just machine up a mount for you. And probably have fun doing it.
Mostly he works on things like lasers.

Let me know if you want to connect.
