Neal,
I've toyed with one and wanted one ever since.  It still has the medium
format problem of depth of field (I use a Pentax 6x7 and fight that
continuously).  For B.W it should be fine because 400 ASA film is fine. 
But no 400 speed color film has the color saturation or the lower speed
films.  Otherwise, 400 speed film in 67 is probably sharper, less grainy
than 100 speed 35mm.  (Hope this doesn't start any battles)

Interesting thought:  At the price of Leica lenses (more than Mamiya 7!)
there should be enough income to include a leaf shutter.  A little
bigger, of course.

Before I invest in the Mamiya7 I will probably get a Linhof 612.
