The only place I have ever noticed a bit of softness with the Summarit is
at full aperture.  Stopped down to f/2 it is on par with my Summicron.  In
low light, where the additional stop of the Summarit is used, I find other
factors typically degrade the image more so than the we bit of softness the
Summitar displays wide open.
