My lense(I guess this is an older version for Leicaflex cameras) does not have a control device to activate the R3's full aperture metering system(or come-back spring or whatever it is called, it is a small tab supposed to be furnished on the back of the lense according to the instruction manual of R3) and thus I have to press the depth-review lever to have the camera measure the actual light and indicate the correct shutter speed. I also keep the lever pressed when I fire if I choose "Automatic" mode. I would like to konw; If the way I use my camera heart anything? If the conversion to the current control device is available?( I asked one of the Japanese Leica dealers but they said such conversion was no longer available even in Germany) I hope someone could help. Thanks in advance. Tak Oka Kuala Lumpur
