I just got a CL after 10 years of not having one (stolen). Even though I
have a few M-3's which have all been serviced regularly, I'm falling in
love with the CL all over again, like reconnecting with an old friend.
The size is perfect for discretion as it fits in a coat pocket easily.
The meter doesn't matter (I shoot B & W and my eyes are faster meters)
except in very harsh or unfamiliar situations.
As for durablility, just don't drop it, the meter arm is a bit fragile.
In fact, I would have liked the CL with no meter. It can't be removed
because it (the meter arm) trips the shutter, ensuring it doesn't get in
the way of the exposure.
at any rate - buy one, you will use it a lot and the 40mm Summicron is
great too!
