Um, I bought my first pair of Leicas (a IIc and a IIIf) in 1969, when I 
was all of 15 years old. A pair of lenses too (35mm Elmar and 50mm 
Summar). The whole kit cost me $60, which was a lot of money to me then. 

Prices now are what is absurd. ;)
