This brings to mind an idea that I have had for some time. Has anyone
considered developing a standardized rating system for Leicas? The cameras
more or less have the same features: chrome, optics, leather, etc.. Lenses
can be even simpler. Bodies could be rated by a numeric value where each of
the digits in a string could represent a feature of the example being rated.

        For example:
        
                        99999 - the first digit could represent the
condition of the chrome or black surfaces. The second digit could represent
the optics, the third could describe the leather and so on.

Rough, but workable, eh?
