I hate to continue this silly thread. I enjoyed the tongue in cheek 
reference to Miranda and Zeiss glass, personally, but don't understand 
the aversion to using a Leica and a precisely made pinhole to do 
photography. Photography is what a Leica User is attempting to do, right?

All a Leica body is, discounting the viewfinder assembly, is a very 
rigid, precisely made box with a fine shutter in it, a mount for an 
imaging optic. It's not a holy jewel. A pinhole optic is a fascinating 
device which can make some amazing images. Why not use a quality box, if 
you own it, to do the job?
