May I suggest that, rather than inflation,  the US dollar value has fallen
in relation to the DGR currency and the problem is not so much Leica's greed
or whatever but the US's fiscal & monetary policy.

I realise that Ben drew no implications from his statement just the facts in
terms of US inflation.
