Subject: Limitations of having Lenses

I've been reading all this stuff about what lens to use and why,
and I see no purpose in it.

whatever lenses you like and use are your choice, by definition a GREAT
choice because they are YOUR choice. If you like the results, nothing
else is important and to hell with anyone who tells you that there is
something wrong with YOUR choice of lenses for YOUR pics.

One of the greatest and most influential still photogs of the last half
of the 20th century is David Hamilton, who ONLY uses a 50 mm on a
Minolta (of all things.) Or at least, that is all he used to use unless
he changed lenses/cameras after becoming famous.

Only the image and your happiness with it is important. Don't use this
stuff about sharpness/contrast/lens choice as an excuse why you missed
the great image or why your pics aren't good enough, cause it just ain't
so.
