I do flip the mirror and then release the shutter. One day, I'll get a double cable release and make a new lever to fit the CL. Viewfinder has had a couple of articles showing the arms, just never got around to it. I find the system portable and easy to work with. I admit I don't do much closeup work. Brian Levy, J.D.
