Ben, does this data come from the 'Bug? If so, that's often one very expensive marketplace. A good user IIIc with 2.50 coated Summitar, all in E to E+ condition, will generally sell for between $300 and $400, almost never above this. Leitz simply made way too many of these for them to have yet become rare collectibles. A true MINT example with box and papers might well bring four figures, but any wear showing at all will reduce it to below $500. These are fairly common at shows. Check out the little dealers who don't know Leica that well. The Big Leica Dudes will ask an arm-and-a-leg though, by the end of the day, will generally dicker quite readily.
