Subject: Precarious lens-lock release

On more than one occasion, a 90mm or 135mm lens came loose and nearly
dropped off my M4 after the lens lock release was inadvertently pressed
during use. 

I never have this problem with an M3 or M6 which comes with the lens release
guard. 

Is there some way one can safeguard this from happening?
