Yes, it was my comment originally.

Now that you mention it, it makes sense. Since this is the only auto only
camera I own I hadn't thought about the variable shutter speed. I use it in
AE mode and adjust the ISA to obtain the shutter speed I want so often, that
I forgot this is not manual shutter speed camera.

My keyboarding is faster than my brain.
