My guess is > that some Leicas are bought by people with a ton of money who don't really > do much photography!--Charlie I had a nice example of that kind last week: I saw a nice M-Equipment for a very god price last week wich included a M6, 2.8/28mm, 2/35mm, 2/50mm (now mine) and 1.4/75mm. No item was older than two years, everything was mint in the box, the price was astonishingly low. I asked the dealer who told me that these items came from of his best customers (obviously!), he bought a R8 plus lenses just before christmas and wanted to get rid of the M-stuff. I told the sales person that this doesn't make much sense as these are quite different systems that could be nicely used in parallel if money isn't that much of an issue. He replied (translated): "I don't think that photographing is that important to him. The M-equipment ist moreover unused and he had it for 2 years." Let us not say anything bad about these guys as long as they sell us their (un)used items for reasonable prices! Someone has to pay the price for the new ones otherwise we could never find anything used and many of us could never afford a Leica (me for example)! best wishes - -- Stefan Kahlert, Medizinische Poliklnik der Universitaet Bonn uzs13b@uni-bonn.de
