Subject: Re: NIKON 39MM FILTERS

Dan,

This must be a continuation of a question I had about a week ago. I have
some 39mm Nikon filters bought out of a bargain basket. At several Nikon
dealers I have subsequently asked about these, I got from blank stares to
'you're nuts' in response. Now I now I should have gone to the pro sections.
It seemed that everone here, but me knew what they were and for which
lenses. These filters seem perfect for the Summicron-C, but I lose the
ability for a screw in lens shade. I am impressed by their quality, more so
than the Nikon 62mm filters (save the Polariser) I have on my Bronica.
