Hello George,

I can't give you a comaparison of the Nikon and the Minilux but I
can tell you my experience with the Minilux. I bought one in the summer of
1994 and have used it constantly ever since. I usually carry it loaded with
slide film for the odd time that I want colour instead of b&w. I have put a
lot of film through the thing and have been pleased with the results. The
camera has been used under a variety of extreme conditions and has performed
just fine. I think the lens is good a metering is accurate. The one place
that the Nikon may have the edge is the metering system. I don't think that
you can go wrong with either camera if you after a good point and shoot.
