Thank you, Dan. Yes the word is nonagonal - as in a nonagon: a polygon with
nine sides. And my parents thought my 4 years at UCLA were nothing but
drinking beer. My thoughts were that the new 90/2.8-M Elmar has 9 blades,
but I didn't save the original post so I wasn't sure which lens was causing
the problem.

Evidently I have a reputation for being rude or something. See if I bother
to whip out my latin again to help some hothead.
