Subject: 21 mm lens worth it?

I have located a 21 mm M lens with finder for a pretty reasonable
price...1500 range.  I would like to hear your thoughts on whether or not
this is a sensible lens for the $.  I do have alternatives..get that width
in my Nikon bag for instance. I am also interested in the general, and
related topic of 21-21mm lenses and their place in the photographer's bag.
I do mostly nature photography. Please excuse me if this is a well-worn
topic.  I have only been on this list for a few months.  Thanks.  Nowell
