Chris,

Regarding the 28mm M-Rokkor:   From a service standpoint, this lens has a 
tendency, to have the  anti-reflective paint separate (little white dots inside the 
front element.  That can be fixed but its difficult to get apart.

As to the performance of the lens, I have only heard good things, I have no first 
hand knowledge.
